Ingredients For Making Pops Chicken Recipe


  • 1 chicken, clean, remove the skin, cut into pieces
  • 400 ml of coconut water
  • 2 sheets of bay leaves
  • 2 pieces of orange leaf
  • 1 segment of Ginger, 
  • 1 Serai stem,
  • 1 segment of Lengkuas, 
  • Cooking oil

Ground Spices For Making Pops Chicken 


  • 6 shallots
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 pecan nuts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Enough water
  • 10 red chilies
  • 5 cayenne fruit
  • 6 red onion cloves
  • 1 red tomato
  • Lime juice
  • Warm water
  • salt and sugar to taste

How To Make Pops Chicken Recipe


  1. Smear the chicken with mashed spices, let stand 20 minutes to 1 hour so that the spices soak.
  2. Boil/presto chicken with coconut water, bay leaves, orange leaves, ginger, lemongrass, and galangal until the chicken meat is tender and cooked and the sauce dries. Lift and drain. (can use a rice cooker)

  4. Fry the chicken in hot oil for a while, then lift and drain.
