Dry Noodles for Chow Mein

Homemade chow mein is a great main course if you are looking for an Asian touch without the saturated fat and MSG present in many commercially pre-packaged dinners. Authentic chow mein is a rather simple dish made of noodles; a good source of protein, such as thinly sliced fish, chicken, pork, or beef; and a sauce to put it all together. Cooking chow mein at home allows you to control the ingredients, making it a healthy and exotic outlet from your normal dinner.
