Ingredients For Making Spinach, Feta, And Fava Pie:


  • 2 tablespoons of ice water
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil
  • 1 large brown onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 100g of feta disintegrated
  • 2 tablespoons hard cheese or finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • Baby Spinach 200g
  • 2 cups (300g) of fresh fava beans
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of wheat germ
  • 160g butter, refrigerated, chopped


Method For Making Spinach, Feta, And Fava Pie:


  1. Put flour, wheat germ and butter in a food processor. Process until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add 1 egg and ice water. Process until the mixture comes together and form a soft dough, adding extra water if needed. Turn around on a lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth. The shape on a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until firm.
  2. In the meantime, heat the oil in an expansive skillet over medium-high warmth. Add the onion. Cook for 5 minutes or until softened. Add the garlic. Note:


You will need about 1 kg of the fresh bean pod. You can store any leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to 3 days.
